What Inspired Macklyn LLC?
Macklyn LLC is a professional services business. We strive to best meet the needs of our customers. This is what a business is supposed to do. That said, businesses are built by people. And there are a few people I must recognize and thank...my family.
I am inspired by my family, the people I love forever and always. I am inspired by my wife, My daughter, my son, my now three granddaughters. They are my inspiration and at the root of my passion to start Macklyn LLC.
Some may say personal sentiment does not belong on a professional website. I would argue that without the personal inspiration, motivation, and support, the professional piece matters little. I therefore feel the personal piece is a big part of what we are at Macklyn LLC.

Why Now?
My son, Mack, was a passionate amateur wildlife photographer. We think he was about to turn that passion into a career. He was an avid camper and hiker, who successfully hiked the difficult trails up to the summit of Mount Washington, took a cross country camping and hiking trip with one of his childhood friend, Adam (a part of our family by association). I did not go on that trip, but I am grateful he let his dad "tag along" on several other adventures in the last few years of his life. We camped up the coast of Maine and kayaked out and camped on Wolf Island, home to a once staffed lighthouse. Mack squeezed a great deal of life into his 27 years, more life than many people do.
We lost Mack on July 14, 2021. He was, in fact, pursuing his passion by preparing to take it to the next level, free-diving photography. I take solace, despite the grief, that at the moment of his passing, he was chasing his dream. He was living his life. As his Instagram page says he was "Living Life to the Macks".
It was losing Mack that really drove home the point that "someday is today"! Mack taught me that if I do not do this now, I may never get the chance again. This is why Macklyn LLC exists now.
So to my family, I say "Thank you!" You are my inspiration and motivation. I love each and everyone of you, always and forever!
